Great sox. I live in south Alabama - it gets hot here - and I wear these sox year round. Have 2 pair I've worn the heels to tissue thinness. I like the thicker ones for winter, thin for summer. I don't dry them in the dryer - just hang them to dry.

I love Smartwool socks. There's nothing better for keeping my feet warm and toasty in winter. My only complaint is that they wear thin along the heel within one season.
